Veurne
Less than 15 kilometres from Nieuwpoort lies the 17th century Veurne. The beautiful town hall, the Spanish Pavilion, the Meat Hall and other historic buildings make the town very attractive.
Take a leisurely stroll through the small alleys and old streets of the town or the adjoining 19th century city park. Or take a visit to the Bakery Museum: an old reconstructed bakery with a baker's shop, grain garden and a baking demonstration held every Tuesday.
