Within 40 minutes you can reach the historic city of Brugge, the most important tourist spot of West Flanders, by car from Camping Nieuwpoort.
Originally Brugge was a seaport, but due to the silting up of the coastal region, it lost its first-class position as a seaport to Antwerp. A city full of art and culture that is definitely worth a visit.
